Dmitry Sinkovsky performs at the Early Music Festival, Latvia with Kremerata Baltica and Sinfonietta Rīga

The annual Early Music Festival boasts local musicians as well as foreign guests who specialise in Baroque and Renaissance music. A few concerts are usually held in Riga but the festival culminates at the Rundāle Palace with a full day program in a Baroque splendour.

 

For the Riga concert (July, 13) Julia Lezhneva and Dmitry Sinkovsky have chosen arias from operas of Antonio Vivaldi and George Frideric Handel that are going to be  complemented by W. A. Mozart’s music performed by Sinfonietta Rīga chamber orchestra. Read more

 

Dmitry Sinkovsky gives his second concert (July, 14) with Kremerata Baltica at the Rundāle Palace - a masterpiece of Baroque architecture in Latvia, which is only an hour drive from Riga. The program of the concert includes Antonio Vivaldi’s violin cycle The Four Seasons that will be performed at the Rundāle Palace Garden. It is one of the most popular classical opuses that is known for countless performances and interpretations across the globe. This time, alongside the chamber orchestra Kremerata Baltica the audience will hear a youthfully energetic and maturely emotional violin performance of Dmitry Sinkovsky. Read more
